Does that mean that they don’t have to be sealed? That would cut down on the maintenance I would think. Also, are they less expensive than the natural stone tiles?
Nick, you are correct. Only the grout will be sealed but we can use a mix in sealer that’s good for the lifetime of the bathroom. As to the expense, the price can vary depending on the patterns and such in the tile.

I think it would be the best thing to put in a bathroom because you won’t have to worry about trying to take care of it every 5 years and it’s easier to clean.
I generally think only natural stone can really look like natural stone.

Yeah, tile especially where I live, would be nice. Mostly we have tile but it’s ceramic and old looking. Any ideas for a “re-fresh” on tile?
Is this easier to take care of than ceramic? Also, my grout looks awful! Are there any good grout cleaners? Or should I just tear out the floor and start over?

I would really love a bathroom with gray tile, I think it would be a good classic look that would not have to be changed soon. Then you could just change out the fixtures as the style changed.

My very favorite tile is the kind with texture.
I definitely love the touch of turuqoise in the shower. It really stands out against a primarily white bathroom without looking dated. Such a clean fresh look. Maybe my new favorite bathroom color.
